I’m a cultural producer, media artist and curator with nearly 20 years of experience working within the fine arts. I am passionate about producing and curating new cultural experiences, as well as bringing diverse sections of the populace together through events. I enjoy working on multidiciplinary platforms and creating content that is concept driven.
I am an excellent problem solver who is able to see the big picture, innovate and create operating models that take ideas into reality. I am a proactive, positive and driven team player with excellent communication skills.
For the past few years I have been specialising in creating exhibitions, events and projects aimed for children, young people and families in Helsinki.

Innovation, events, projects and translations
As a cultural producer my skills are diverse. I am an excellent problem solver, quick on my feet and steady in a crisis. I believe the key to being a great producer is truly understanding what the client wants and seeing each project from a multitude of angles. I am a hands on kind of lady who is not afraid to get my hands dirty.
conceptual artist
I am a cross disciplinary artist from Finland. My art usually takes form as site-specific installations, that aim to transform space into a visceral experience, that gently provokes performative responses from viewers through movement, sound and touch. I am interested in alternate realities and the juxtapositioning of nature, ritual and technology.
multidisciplinary exhibitions
I create contemporary art exhibitions often combining art, science and technology. I currently work as the exhibitions co-ordinator at the Annantalo Arts Center, a culture house for children, young people and families. I am active in the Helsinki Artist' Association and Sipoo Artists' Society exhibition committees curating over 70 exhibitions yearly in various galleries across Uusimaa.

Cultural producer at Annantalo Arts centre, City of Helsinki
Exhibitions | Virtual Annantalo
As the cultural producer for Annantalo's exhibitions I handle all parts of the exhibition process from curating, contracts and budget to the actual physical hanging of artworks and exhibition design. I am in charge of three different gallery spaces and oversee possible exhibitions happening in Annantalo’s public spaces both inside and outside. I produce, create and physically take part in the audience development activities for children, young people and families happening both in house and online. I am also responsible for the coordination of the Virtual Annantalo content, as well as marketing for all exhibitions and virtual content. Other skills i use on a regular basis are translation, video and sound editing, visual design and good old fashion woodworking.

Cultural producer at Annantalo Arts Centre, City of Helsinki
As the cultural producer of Annantalo's A-stage, I was responsible for the event production and budget for Annnantalo's summer programming. I established the Annantalo community garden, as well as led the production on Jylhä, an interactive installation for children, young people and families, as a part of Finland’s Presidency of the Council of the EU opening festival is organized by the City of Helsinki in cooperation with the Prime Minister’s Office, Europe Information of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, the representative offices in Finland of the European Parliament and Commission, and Helsinki Cup.

As a producer, I was responsible for project production, curation of community art projects, planning, contracts, budgeting, reporting, networking with regional actors, partnerships, sponsors, grant application writing and negotiations with the city of Helsinki and other partners.

Producer for the Urbaaniluonto PLUG in! project : Helsinki Artists' Association
As a producer, I was responsible for devoloping the project parameters and goals. My work also included taking care of : contracts, building collaborative networks, negotiations, sponsors, reporting, budgeting, production, and the hiring visual arts teachers.

Producer, translator, gallery assistant, translator: Gallery Jangva
I was responsible for the gallery’s event production and the annual production clock as part of the gallery’s audience outreach work. I was responsible for translating the gallery’s texts from artist statements to legal documents, running the bookstore, as well as invigilation.
